El Chalten- FitzRoy Mountain





Took a 3 hour bus ride NW of El Calafate to spend a few days in El Chalten. It is a hiker’s mecca there! It is such a beautiful mountainous town, and best of all… it is so small that it is not overcrowded with people. Jessica and I biked around the whole town in about 15 mins. Ha ha it is really small! We hiked to Cerro Fitzroy (11,286 feet) and it was well-worth the 7 hour hike (round-trip), and it wasn’t so bad since we met friends from all around the world at the hostel to hike with. So beautiful, the Andes really are spectacular!

    Heather- ha i know i love headstands, and they are even cooler in the most beautiful place! How's the house and little Yumi? tell her i miss her for me please and give her a belly rub :)
